A CONTEMPORARY SPACE IN AN OLD CORTIJO.

The transformation started by removing certain elements of the characteristic rustic style; the clay that this style normally uses for the walls and floors, combined with the stone that was replaced by a ceramic discourse of black porcelain and ivory that accompanies and supports the general aesthetic path of black and white geometric motifs in the interior: woodwork, grilles, bathroom and kitchen furniture and lamps in the living room.

The exterior, framed by a latticed reminiscent in concept of bygone times but updated with geometric figures, as an extension of the interior. The geometric path is coherently employed as well later is the pool area and the courtyard, this time backlit to provide warmth and coziness to the composition and move away from the traditional Andalusian canons.

A THE-WALLER Unique collection piece, in green, is strategically placed above the fireplace presiding over the cortijo, contemporizes the whole space.
