AN ELEGANT SPACE WITH AN ASIAN TOUCH.
The client asked the creation of an elegant space with a subtle Asian touch, intended to serve international cuisine. One of the difficulties here were the low ceilings that the installation had, along with a visual mismatch caused by the off-centring of the dome at the top.
In order to solve this problem, we placed a crown of wooden staves in the hollow of the dome, together with a false wooden circle of smaller diameter, arranged diagonally on the ceiling.
To highlight the Japanese influence, we created a mustard yellow lacquered plinth, evoking the art of Japanese origami. Furthermore, small minimalist details can be appreciated in the design of both bells. To complete the ensemble, small plaster flowers were added above the plinth, adding an extra decorative touch.
